Disgust with the parties is spreading to the high schools …
Here is my letter, if find grammar or spelling mistake, please tell me:
Dear MP,
I am writing because I am unsatisfied of the way parliament is acting. The party leaders don’t speak for all Canadians. 40.1% of eligible voters did not actual vote. Now I am seeing why. They don’t want to contribute the circuits we call a parliament. What happened to working together? Calling names, insulting each other, were they taught better?
We need to do what right? I hate to write this, but we have to have another general election. But we do this right. That means we stop with politic rhetoric. So go back the when this country was created and vote they same way they did. No political parties. We most ensure democracy is fully restored from how constitution writes it. Every MP is elected from their constituency and all MP help choose PM with consulting of governor general. Basically it is the same way as we do now except no political parties. That means candidates has to convince their constituency, they deserve to be MP. So am asking you, during the next election run on your own beliefs, not others don’t attach yourself to a political party. You’re going respected by your constituency because you vote based on their beliefs..
When it comes down to non-confidence vote to show that you represent your riding, vote based on your and your riding opinion. Remember the non-confidence vote is about if Harper did a good job, nothing about coalition. If non-confidence vote passes, then soon after is coalition vote (a.k.a Appointment of Leader as PM). Again vote based on you and your riding opinion to show what democracy really is.
Thank you for your time,
Sincerely,
Mickey Yuen
A proud Canadian, not so much of parliament right now.
